The plan was simple Finnish work at 1 grab gear stop off for bait on beach for 3 easy well I finished at 2.30 on the road for 3.30 hr and half in traffic stopped off at tackle shop they had some monster rag a big fella on the top was at least 60 cm long I didn’t take him but they were all decent sized and lively I got to the beach later than planned met up with Pete and torno mag him and Pete had all ready bagged a couple of hounds around the 7 lb mark pete had orso had a sole a quick chat and Pete reckoned bass were on the cards I set up my gear including a brand new T 700 my mate just bought and lent it to me to try out must say wot a rod oh FYI Burt and ted petes dog where haveing a great time Burt was acting like a teenager running round ted barking his head off while ted was looking at him thinking wot a twat ?any how just I got my first bait in the water I saw Pete bringing in a fat bass which I wasn’t quick enough to catch when it fell off the hook and made good his bud for freedom . Then I had a fence t pull down a following a short fight bought a small hound around the 4 lb mark then I bought in a bootlace eel on 2 nd rod then a 2 lb bass on the 3 rd rod busy 30 mins I was chatting to the beys when I saw my bass rod arch over I ran grabbed it and arfter a decent fight bought in a nice bass of 6 lb 6 oz happy days Pete then had a another bass around a lb more than. Mine I saw gary playing with a decent strap then finally Pete landed a butey of a sole around the 1.10 mark lovely fat fish ?I tried for one but only managed a small ting and a dog which Burt and ted argued over ?so a cracking nights fishing great to finally fish with @Tournamag and @chesilpete looking forward to next weeks meet only bad thing of note was I left my keys on the beach so had to run down and find them luckily I did ??Cheers ma butey
