North Wales Couple of hours on the Straits.

Couple of hours out Tuesday night with Callum chasing the hounds, we had frozen crab as bait fished on a 3/0 pennel dropper rig. We soon found our target after 2 or 3 casts also dropping one awfully close to the shore ?

Callum on photo duty. Despite the dropped hound we did manage another cracking little catch on the night in the shape of a Tub Gurnard. Funnily enough he wasn’t as keen initially to hold this as he is with the hounds ? pics didn’t do the colours on this fish justice.

Great little session with great company and all being well a return to the lures next week after only one attempt in the last 5-6 weeks! ??
