I had the good fortune to bump in to LRF guru Devon Lerfer at the end of last year and at the time he was after the species I went out tonight for and he had one, didn't doubt he wouldn't, so there's me thinking " I can do that! " and out in to the cold night air I ventured.
Got to the mark and my fingers was already getting cold, I quickly dropped the tiny jig head down, didn't even hit the bottom bang fish on, feisty Pouting the culprit, next drop the same, bang Pouting, so this went on for well over an hour, cold fingers, cold toes and Pouting, deciding enough was enough I swapped to a size 14 dropshot and landed, yep another Pouting!!.
Then with me saying ill give it 10 more mins before going home and thawing out my extremities, I had a couple tentative nibbles, then a little pull down and fish on, didn't feel much on the way up so hopes was high, out the water he came and yes target achieved a lovely looking Leopard Spotted Goby laid in my hand, a few pics and he was back in the icy waters and away.
Feeling a warm glow of satisfaction all over I contemplated fishing on a bit more, nah stop being a twat!! a quick pack up and I nipped off sharpish to the heater in the car, with a job well done.

Well done Bob - great report and target achieved! I think your Goby would have looked better placed over that lettering though! ???

Well done, mission accomplished!
