East Anglia Clacton Pier today.

Cracking session on the pier today with Chris and Jay. The smoothounds were about and I ended up with seven to 7lbs 10oz, plus a couple of rays. Jay had a couple and the best of the day at 8lbs 12oz and Chris had two hounds around the 5lbs mark, along with a dropped ray which decided to drop off when we attempted to handline it up. He also caught his pet corkwing wrasse again.

The shelters aren’t up to much. The barrow and chair are my mate’s. We load it up and I barrow the stuff to the end of the pier, whilst he goes and parks the van. It works really well.
