So we fished are last comp of the year yesterday fishing off burton a mark I have only fished once before any how long story short fish a cast most of the day mainly whiteing with the odd pout or dog throwen in my biggest whiteing were around the 11 oz mark but a lad one tent up managed a 1 lb 7 and a 2lb 6 which was a beast and and won him the Xmas hamper for best pair of fish I did ok too with decent pout and a pair of dogs one which cone in at 2lb 2 good points on the board I orso had a 4 lb strap which I was convinced was bigger and A 3 lb se ray both to small to weigh in but a nice change to the tings my mate had a 2 lb 3 coddie swell as the day went on I started to suss the beach abit with a small ledge about 40 yards out which seem to hold a better stamp of fish . So a good end to a messed up year and looking forward to next years comps where I hope to do better busy busy fishing with problem 50 odd fish caught never seemed to let up as for burton lovely mark but fishing sandy beaches ain’t my jam feckin got every where . Would have thought being a "Muck" Throwing Merchant would have been just at home playing in the Sandpit! Now wheres me trowel!
