South Coast chesil...... woof!

Quick easy report, me n gray had been watching the weather and thought that a bit of surf and dirty water might be worth a go......
Wrong!
Straps, pout and soooo many dogs!
Fished it hard for 6 hours and could not get past the rubbish!

Least you had fish Pete I fished a comp last night at Seaton for one undersized pout hardly any fish weighed in it’s got to kickoff soon hasn’t it ??‍??‍??‍

Nothing is normal this year..... double figure bulls n smuts..... zero bass..... tope...... its all foooked up. As long as the cod turn up in September alls good in my world but I dont think its going to be as simple as that!!

First wait is Sept and fat Plaice. Then End Sept early Oct for cod. Hope this stir this weekend makes a bit of a difference.

We had a lovely bag of big hounds a few days before..... then went back and struggled, then char had that beast out, its a very strange year, two small tope, the biggest scad i have ever seen!
The good news a 4lb cod came out today..... lets hope its the start of a great Autumn.
