Fished a comp here yesterday weather stunning but cold done a bit of a yomp to see if we chould find a ray or 2 but it is February and fishings shite in February I did manage 5 plaice in daylight to weighable for the comp another that whould fit in a sandwich and another that was about the size of a postage stamp darkness fell and the onslaught of dogs pout and ting never happened Couple of undersized pout and a tiny strap a slow days fishing another one of my mates smashed it with a 1 lb 10 oz plaice and a 1lb 13 dog down right by the rough .
I’m struggling this year not catching like last year think I’m in one of those zones were nothing seems to happen but I’ll keep at it couple of trips on the rough ground and a few boat trips comeing up one that if it the weather plays ball chould be amazing . But the banter was good as always between the 30 that fished and the weather was cracking so not all bad roll on April and hopefully the start of the hound run cheers ma butes

You whouldnt like to fish there atm massive landslide due any day now thousands of tons of rock and mud that beach is becomeing less and less every winter

I Don't venture left or right to below the cliffs these days ma bute.Near the car park is far enough for me.Plus it's nearer the Pub.

The spots don’t really count because you can get flounder with orange spots.
