South East Breezy Bradwell

Waiting for the right weather could take all summer this year. The weather reports seem to be changing constantly. I thought it would be rain free today but alas no. I wish I brought my friend Ron Thompson.
On arrival the water was choppy and coloured with the wind coming off the sea. I thought I had missed the rain showers but unfortunately not. The fishing was patchy with lots of small bass bites for the first hour then dead for 2-3hours then a drop back on squid which resulted in a ray. Then the small bass returned and apart from one line tangling eel that was it.
It was lovely to be out.

Good session Stoker,I fish opposite you on the Colne estuary very similar results at the moment,mind you I haven't had an eel out of the river in years.
