Fancyed a nice easy sesh tonight so popped all ing to good ole branners for a go at plaice and rays well mate had a small Ballen early doors and I snagged a dog but the spotties weren’t playing ball fished hard with sand eel all night but just dogs pout and poor cod for me me mate lost and half decent bass in the surf which had nailed the pout he snagged but just dogs for he aswell looks like we targeted the wrong species anyhoo fish till high feck it was cold out nice easy sesh few fish but apart from that it were poop ? need they hounds to start running now I’m getting board now

Yeah I was feeling positive about snagging something half decent conditions were pucker apart from being tiny tides should have gone on the rough or just put one out for bass all night but fingers crossed ussaly around Easter it starts to pick up ?

I was the same mate. Thought a ray was on the card, looked perfect for it, but not to be. My mate was fishing for Plaice all day and had 1 dog to show from it.

Hard weekend everywhere..... only know of one person who managed a decent bag, bass n rays.
That water temp has to get to 12 degrees I reckon.
