Preston Beach Weymouth
As it says in the title, four hours into darkness using a variety of rigs and baits on a beach which throws up all manner of species.
Nothing, not a bite, just one spider crab.
Terns nest on the nature reserve the other side of the road, they were finding it hard work, they would appear from way out to sea carrying a sand eel or two. In normal times they would be diving among your lines and carrying fish back while being mobbed by gulls. The terns take evasive action from the gulls by hugging the shingle bank to the alarm/amusement of those sitting there or walking or cycling along the path at the top of the bank
