This was my 64th birthday weekend with ace angler and adventurer @DJDBazzer. This was back in August, but things being what they are this year, its taken me this long to report.

The idea was to meet up in the vans and spend the first night with Bazzer showing me how he takes pictures and time lapses of the milky way. That sort of evolved!

That's meeeee! Fire in the eyes, milky way, shooting star and a very atmospheric setting. Its all there. A really great evening, fueled by cider and tequila and good company and before my birthday fish the next day. Wicked camera skills by Bazzer. The time lapse in the video of the Milky Way moving behind "Woodhenge" took an hour, again that was passed relaxing in my van celebrating my birthday early!

If you are not aware. Bazzer has some amazing videos on Youtube showing his adventures and they are well worth a viewing. Look for Coast to Country.

Bazzer has been very genererous regarding my skills in the video, but in reality, none of this would have happened without his help.

I was elated prior to the walk back up the cliffs back to the van. However by the time we got back I was exhausted, but still happy. At this point my phone had reception again and I could see that people had been trying to get in touch with me. One of my mates I knew was very ill, so l contacted another mate who lives next door to him, only to be told that he only had 2 1/2 days to go and they were just waiting for him to pass. I sat in my van and cried my eyes out.

Live life people while you can, so very sad that l could not share this with my mate.
