Great news that we can fish local , I managed to get £20 of rag from southwest seabaits on Friday .
As we have to stay local I went to a Mark about 3miles from me dodging police road blocks as I went ??.
I arrived at 4.30 pm to fish 3 down and 3 up ,it was lovely and flat with a slight ripple from a gentle breeze.
It did not get dark until about 5.30 so I had a slow hour thinking I had made a mistake to fish this Mark ,
then I got a few pout and poor cod scales everywhere, still thinking I might have to take my worms home and look after them for a few days , then as it hit low the switch was turned on and the bass arrived, from 7 til 8.45 my rods did not stop , sometimes both rods bounceing at the same time , still getting the occasional pout if they could get there first , then one rod went right over I thought conger , but what a surprise I got after a tousle to get it in I slid it ashore and it was a nice bass , 52cm and about 3.5lb I weighed it then my scales died why do they do that . It was a beautiful fish I slid him back in to swim off .
At about 9pm I ran out of worms yes £20 worth , but what a fantastic night , a but cold I had finger less gloves on and I need them it was cold .This is the bass on my seat box so you can see the size of it .39556BF8-DA7B-4B48-8694-51F2D5A68096.jpeg7B14FD81-0F26-4D9F-9F0D-750EE27A1C1D.jpeg

Wow! Great report, good session, lovely Bass John! Well done mate! ??

The beauty of plymouth is that even at 5 miles we still have loads of places we can fish from , the Tamar the plym Sutton harbour , the hoe , Mountbatten can’t wait .
