We have bought a Static a few miles North of Barmouth this year, done some local fishing during the warmer months and had plenty of Bass and Flatties but was wondering what to expect through the autumn and winter months? Willing to travel a bit up and down the coast from there, any info appreciated.

Bass will still be about for a good while after the whiting. Best time of year for big fish. Mackerel as well have been around inshore very late into November if it has been settled . Tywyn used to throw up codling in rough weather. Not sure if it still does. . a bit further south and Ynyslas and Borth for dabs, whiting, dogs and SE rays for a while yet

Its a good 45 mins to Tywyn from the static, if I travel that far I would just head up the straits and island where I normally fish, sorry should have been a bit more specific, looking Barmouth to Harlech beaches.

Can't really help then mate although I doubt you'll go short of dogs, and whiting
