Or, as [USER=680]@grinner[/USER] said, buy a new one. The new Mitchell reels are OK for the money (made by the same company as Penn) - I've got one. The 'R' series are a bit cheap & cheerful & freshwater I think, but the RZ surf reels are quite good. Depends what you want it for & what size reel you are looking at. Mitchell Blue Water RZ 8000 is only £30!
