Well that was the first trip to the French Atlantic coast in ! It was a very lovely day today the air temp reached a high of 21C and if you were in the sun you could really feel it ... spring is in the air.
The fishing was not brilliant although I did get one take that immediately started to take line I lifted the rod and tried to tighten the drag a bit but within a few seconds my line was slack again . The sea conditions were not all that great in as much as some fairly heavy surf was crashing into the area I was trying to fish so that could have been better. The area looks as though t could fish well but the main issue is access the cliffs although not high are... shall we say precipitous and also I did not want to be too ambitious for a first time out. A guy came alone and started surfing at one point as the surf did get up a bit. I reckon that later in the year things will be better when I can fish at dawn and dusk it was very sunny today. Would have liked to god a look at the fish that took my lure though because it headed of at a rate!
A few photos and I have a short vid of the place I fished today taken about two hours before high tide cannot post the vid though.
