Beat the blank with a doggie first cast after it took a liking to my Anchovy bait
Missed a couple of bites over the next couple of hours but was then rewarded with my target species
Before finishing the night with a Whiting and another missed bite on the very last cast
Might try squeezing another cheeky session in during the week before a weekend away
