No experience of any Akios tackle. Is that new, or 2nd hand?
Had a look at some on eBay, and no mention of size to compare to other reels.
Best price seems to be £90, so if that's new, it's a good price, if 2nd hand, not so much.
Not enough details really in your post to form an opinion. What do you plan to use it with/for?

The only one I can find at that price is from Gerrys but they are out of stock.If you can get one new for £50 including the spare spool I suggest you get it.Suit you down to the ground.

Thanks all for your comments/advice. @Trampster - I was planning to hang it off my 14' Penn Prevail Surf II for any sort of beach fishing (clean or otherwise). @tdxs133pm - it was a Gerry's £50 new-rod offer & I was too slow then - oh well ! I'll keep the Utopia C8 on the list of "possibles" though, but I'm sure something will turn up to similarly catch my eye & the more I learn about reel brands/specs/quality the more fast-footed I will be in future.

This is the closest to that offer and still a decent price.

Just to say, in response, re capacity: deep-spool capacity = 12lbs 500yds / 20lbs 290yds & the included swappable shallow-spool capacity = 12lbs / 210 yds / 15lbs 180yds.
