As the title suggests it wasn’t promising the best weather wise for an outing on Saturday night but having booked leave for a family day out on Sunday I wasn’t going to let a little drizzle put me off………. After all, we’re not made of sugar or in danger of rusting are we ?

Anyhow, 4th cast I’ve snagged my Mishna well and truly, wondering if this was a sign of things to come and a few choice words whilst re tying bits on it was though soon forgotten as I hooked into and lost a bass no more than a handful of casts later ☹

Hoping it was a sign of things to come I didn’t have to wait too much longer and the blank was again beaten. Pearl Mishna again doing the bizz. ?

Strangely, like the previous outing it proved to be the only fish of the session for me and I had very little interest even though I cycled through a handful of different lures trying to find something they wanted.

As 11pm approached, the tide having eased and having endured a proper soaking I decided enough was enough and made my way back towards the car.

Oh…….. and I never made the day out either having booked the following day off ☹ I’ve not been able to trust a fart in the last 24hrs! ?

Mrs wasn’t happy, apparently that’s what I get for fishing in that weather

It certainly was a damp evening ?, but well done for managing to tempt one ?.

If wet weather caused the skoots, the population of Scotland would spend most of our lifes strapped to the bog.! ?
Beautiful bar of silver mate, well done. ?
