Nipped out early this morning over Torquay way, wasn't planning on a long sesh, just a couple of hours, well didn't even make that long. Was 1c when I parked up and a lot colder at the end of the pier, first cast gave up a Mackerel, second gave a couple more Mackerel and a Herring, that's Max the dogs tea sorted, third cast, four lovely Coalfish, target sorted.
Few more casts, more coalfish and a couple small Pollock, then couple more mackys and coalies. Thirty mins later and with 20 odd fish out, I had to call it a day, couldn't feel me fingers when unhooking, did have gloves on when casting and retrieving but so many fish they was off more than on.
Such a lovely morning too, but too cold for these old fingers. Roll on the summer.
