Sorry for my lack of posting lads, I've meant to put reports up a number of times, but for one reason or another.. Didn't ?
It's been busy out there!... So it's been an exercise in avoiding the crowds rather than going to the best spots.... Hate to be crammed in when fishing!.... Even if I get less fish, its still more enjoyable than being dragged in every other cast!
Anyway, the fishing has been extremely patchy since my last report, the blondes have gone, the hounds arrived, the cod still about.... Odd that one!
The dogs seem to have thinned a bit, so trips down channel are less of a nightmare!.... About time, and it gave me the incentive to pop down and complete the channel ray slam.... Always nice that.
Hounds though have been my main target, and so far I've failed to find any big ones (by channel standards), although it's still been great fun having the reel scream on the takes.... I do love hounds?
Thornbacks as always keep you busy, cracking fish in my book.... Give a good scrap and always willing to scoff a squid bait.... Saving many a blank day for me.
Eels are showing as well now ?
