Decided to put my mountain goat legs on yesterday and take my mate on a sphincter clenching trek to find a spot out of the wind at uwchmynydd.
Plenty of mackerel on feathers, Pollock on the float, and doggies on the bottom, nothing of any size but good fun.

In the evening we tried the beach for a couple of hours, I used lug on a pulley pennel and my mate put a set of feathers on and baited them with rough chunks of mackerel, he wanted to catch something, whiting were his target.
Well he caught two bass and two doggies but no whiting, I caught two bass and missed two good takes.IMG_20210929_121215.jpgIMG_20210929_225222.jpgIMG_20210929_235342.jpgIMG_20210929_212921.jpgIMG_20210929_215923.jpg

Well done Toby, great angling and well done on the bass and finding the elusive mackerel (y)
