Spent a very enjoyable late afternoon and evening yesterday with @Steviea rock fishing on Anglesey. Though the weather was stunning in the afternoon, with lovely warm sunshine ☀️, the fishing was slow with only a single thornback to Steve in daylight ?.

As the light faded though, we had a visit from Sammy the seal, which was the prelude to a massive improvement in sport.

It was mainly just dogs and whiting but I did manage a nice huss of 10lb 3oz ?,

and an unusual catch in the shape of an octopus, my first for a couple of years ?.

All in all a very good weeks fishing for me ?.

Tidy huss Andy, well done (y)

I've only ever caught one octopus and found the unhooking process a bit freaky.

Nice Huss there and the octopus is pretty impressive too

Well done on a few fish, looks absolutely beautiful weather too, sounds a great afternoon out.
