So i haven't been out much since the sea angling classic! Due to it being a bit slow and with work getting in the way.
But i have just uploaded a few select pics of last night on the shingle where i had a couple of thorneys on live eel and a red gurnard on mack. It was a short session after work 2 up 2 down over high.
I did have a big wonga take a pout but it let go of it in the surf!

SAC was an event that will stay in my memory for a while. Mostly the journey over and back on my little boat (gadget) 250 mile round trip from devon to hayling, with an added 100 miles for the event over the 3 days. Lots of fuel burnt !!! fun was had especially the sat morning in the swell !

i had a small cod of chesil on the last spring so im hoping they will push in in better numbers by this weekend. Such a strange year for the cycle everything is late late! Still waiting on the better mack shoals to turn up down here!

Superb.
Boat fishing ? is obviously the best option ?

Some good catches there, well done ?

It certainly has its place in the sport but i have to say hands down i get more satisfaction from shore fishing and its far more relaxed, it lets you really let your hair down. The shore fishing has been far better than boat this year!

Let's hope so.
I've been twice this year after a couple of years of covid pandemic restrictions.
First time was superb, in Worthing.
The second time was in July in Bournemouth, again a great time, plenty of different species and a superb Bass.
I'm hoping for a few good days in September on the south coast again.
