2023 round up.

13 trips for 10 species.

whole year was pretty much the same results whether fishing alone or with team utter blankers , either a few lil fish or blanks.
the one exception was a jaunt across to wales hunting smuts where Ian & i had a couple of reasonable sized ones.

it's getting harder to find any incentive , i'm not a social animal and the game is about the hunt for me, a need to catch. the specie hunting used to interest me as i was quite competitive but i've no real targets left that havn't been done before , cant justify hours spent targeting small fish & sizeable fish seem few and far between.

we'll see what 2024 brings tight lines everyone
 
Sounds like you have lost your mojo a bit mate. Perhaps think that it is just good to get out in the fresh air and drink in your surroundings and any fish are a bonus. Sure the fish part will just sort of kick in. I hope so.
