Decided to walk towards the coast gaurds from bexy last night. The plan was to fish the short window of tide over low, then pack up as soon as the tide eased. Fishing was manic from the moment we got there, Gurnards, mackerel, scad, whiting, some huge dogs and my son lost a huge mullet right on the shingle as a wave came in and claimed it. Just as the tide began to ease, my rod tip came back and shortly a lovely fat slipper was on the shingle. Once the tide dissappeared completely the bait came back untouched and it was time to go.

Cracking Sole!

Good session. Nice Sole. (y)

Ian.

Cracking report! I'm making the journey to Chesil tomorrow...have to collect something from Burnham on Sea so thought I'd drop down to Chesil for a few hours in the afternoon/evening. Bex is my intended destination. Good to see some life and fish being caught.

Anyone at West Bex today? How busy is it if so? I'll be there in a couple of hours as the tide turns in.
Cheers!
Neil
