chesil. 11pm-middayish
plan was for the main chesil center carpark , but the new limit of 10 hours parking pissed me off. it was late and dark and i didnt feel like walking . so up n over i went to find a quiet beach.
the new easytide format is anoying as can never see easily if its a spring or a neap, moon looked to be 3/4 waneing, .
wind was north or n/w & moderate, sea state was pretty flat but as i left a nice chopp had started with the wind going more westerly. high tide was for about 10pm so i fished down and back up again.

rigs were pullys and a dropper with smaller hooks.
baits were :- manky squid. sandeel. black lug. preserved rag. & fresh mackerel in the morning.
first cast yealded a pout but darkness was slow , next was a mico huss then a bootlace conger with no more fish till dawn after the tide had turned. had a good pull down and a great fight from what turned out to be a large cuttle , i nearly named it bait as i did the pouting but let it go fortunately it didnt ink me.

found a few mackerel which topped up my bait & gave me something for the pot.

towards high tide a nice black bream fell to my hooks. spordically followed by two more.
final score - bootlace conger./pout./ 4 mackerel./ 3 bream. still cant find the rays.
