weather, dry bright, broken cloud, light southerly winds but it clouded over in the afternoon and then seamist descended.
tides, were neap. time constraints had us fishing from last hour of flood till next early flood.
sea state.- horrible, clear, flat with just a slight chop. we had heard the call for coddies but had missed the storm & the big tides.
baits, fresh blacks/not so fresh blow, /frozen sandeel plus a general freezer clearout of prawn, blacks, squid, flicked some feathers about but no joy.
rigs, feathers, scratchy 2 hook flapper & 3 hook clipped. pulleys, up n overs.
started into the last of the flood with a 3/0 pulley at range * and a scratchy flapper not so far. all seemed quiet & after a cast or two i picked up a reasonable bream on the pulley ,nailed on a 3/0 circle. snagged the other rod & lost rig.

the rig losing became a little irritateing over the session but thats the price of being on a bit of the wreck i guess. managed to puff up a reel later into the session which hurt more, casting seems to be going downhill without much practice.
fished down the ebb somewhat uneventfully with just the odd bream rattle. as the tide turned the wind picked up breifly then sea mist rolled in, bites increased but ian and i could only find small bream, nothing better so off t pub it was.
