    Boots.

Baffin titans for ultimate warmth if you are not walking far. Grubbs snowline 12.5 with rock grip studs for the cold and slippery. Woodland neoprene wellies for everything else. All owned and used for a minimum of 6 years.

    Dongle circle hook

Do away with the loop. Use a standard J hook instead. Then use a semi circle above that. In other words, a pennel 👍

    Live vs Wrapped Black Lugworm

In my opinion. Not too say other anglers don't rate it.

    Live vs Wrapped Black Lugworm

Either farmed or wild dug that is stored in tanks of seawater. Weirdly, I'm happy to use farmed ragworm with 100% confidence.

    Live vs Wrapped Black Lugworm

Live 'fresh outs' are my preferred bait for all my proper fishing (in other words, codding) I'll keep them for up to a week like that in trays with an ⅛" of sea water to keep them moist. However, if they are tanked, I'd prefer to use fresh wrapped, as I feel tanked worms get washed out.

South Coast What a difference a few years makes!

Got round to watching GM proper jobs last night. Nothing wrong with GM, but the commercial filth boiled my piss. Such waste.

South Coast What a difference a few years makes!

Greed greed and more greed. The motto of commercial filth.

    Newer Rod Brands.

I've had many different brands of rod over the years. Stand outs other than daiwa and zziplex have to be leada uptide rods and Ron Thompson Axes.

    Pulley beads or large swivel

If I'm forced to use a pulley rig as a last resort over snaggy ground, I'll use a large swivel if, and only if, the cast is a very gentle lob. If any form of power casting is involved, I use the breakaway proper pulley link. I don't add any beads as they are just something else to snag. The...

    Norway tackle recommendations?

We don't take that many. You won't need more than half a dozen seekers and maybe a dozen shads. Id take 4 of each jig heads

    Norway tackle recommendations?

From the shore, my other half Jax, does a fair bit of lure fishing in Trondheim fjord. 4" relax shads fished on 40 to 100g jig heads will work the bottom water. Savage gear seekers the mid and upper water.

South Coast What a difference a few years makes!

And once all the commercially desirable fish have been netted and trawled up, those miserable pieces of commercial excitement will start wiping out the whelks, just like at Dungeness.
