I've been saying for years the greed of many companies moving manufacture to china has made china the richest most powerful country and they have invested heavily in there armed forces and are still communist.
Had a few hounds a couple of weeks ago but not sure what's been caught since. I don't like sharing my results as I'm sure the netters watch social media . Around the same time I had good size bream at aldwick and someone posted their catch and the netters got on it and now only seem to get small...
Anyone on here target them successfully and if so what's your preferred rig and bait ? My local shop recommends heavy nylon rather than wire to the hook, others recommend a pennel rig . Would like to try and avoid deep hooking if possible so thinking a big circle hook to heavy nylon via a...
Splashdowns will keep the hook locked in if casting off the ground and release on impact with the water but some heavy gauge hooks don't fit them. Imps are vary good but can release if casting off the ground.
Nice but looks like the mono mag would get in the way as I fish low reel and would like to retain the ratchet. Tempted to buy a couple of C's versions and get rocket reel company CT cages but it looks like these require removal of the ratchet as well.
Tidrift 5G TD5-962ML, used mine with gravity sticks ,surface lures and shallow divers and surf speakers, love it . Have the heavier 10/45 gram for rougher sea with heavy metals as well.
Aldwick bognor ? Was there Saturday and Sunday ,fished tide up for two hours and down for two. Bream on the ebb Saturday with lite offshore wind, Sunday onshore wind ,dogs, hounds and one bream and small eels.
Only use mine on a couple of deeper water rough ground marks in my area or on trips away , although I would use them here on big tides and rough weather.
I've got a pair of profile evo's and love them on my local beaches in west Sussex, although I'm still getting used to them as they are very soft in the butt compared to my other rods T900 eliminators. Only had them about a month but have used them at least a dozen times and had eels, hounds...
Have read the as that mine must be the C's with a CT cage fitted and I do vaguely remember it now as I think at the time there was a CT conversion kit but I didn't want that as I think from memory iyou had to cut the upper crossbar out of the level wind cage.
Yeah I've heard some conflicting information, been told the 6500 were being made in Sweden again but them someone else said assembled in Sweden from inferior parts made over seas.
I have one of the above which I think I bought in the nineties but I've seen a new one in a shop which looks the same apart from the handle grip . Have read many stories about them not being the same anymore and that they were made in china for a while with lower grade materials. Anyone have any...
Saltwater fly fishing hoodies in SPF 50 are nothing like a long sleeved T Shirt , decent ones from the likes of Patagonia are very light to wear and breathable to wick moisture away .they are not cheap but well worth it if you value your skin health.
