    ah, reading above posts i see the plan, couldn't see the point of having a swivel that runs through the eyes potentially smashing the inserts with an over enthusiastic retrieve

    likeing that as top link would be upsidedown and less likely to catch the snood line. i guess if you built a two ook flapper you could have a long and a short snood and fish two up or one up, one down depending upon which way up you connect the rig, not sure if that works or if i'm just...

    leader-swivel- oval splitring,- swivel on top of rig, i often use same swivel and splitring as a leadlink. gemini links catch long snoods

    sometimes i find they are hooked on peeler, but hard backs, squid rag will score at times , i caught 3 good fish on squid back the end of may at lee on solent. raw prawn also worth a shot, a mate fishes morfa, thats all he used up there. from what he said .
