Instead of trying to find shelter on Friday morning on a rock mark, I decided to head to a local harbour, knowing the westerly wind would be blowing pretty much from behind me...

Plan changed, decided to scrap YouTube
It was nice to put the first fish of the year in the net yesterday morning. Although only small, with the conditions consisting of strong winds, murky water and a big swell, I was more than happy to just catch. As in recent weeks, a 3” ned on the Texas rig did the business.
