    South West Slow Slow SouthWest

Getting impatient, whilst waiting for the waters to warm and taking advantage of the fishable weather windows down here in South Cornwall. Had a great January this year, but always gets quiet for the area I fish Feb/March, feels almost dead, but better out fishing than sitting around. The plaice...

    Up&Over or One-Hook Clipped Down?

Appreciate the advice everyone will bear that in mind and try/experiment a few ideas when tying some new rigs. Tight lines,

    Up&Over or One-Hook Clipped Down?

I am starting to use the up and over more as I hope to target more rays this coming year. Do people prefer using fixed gripper leads or a rolling sinker to move about and find those holding depressions? Also, when I retrieve my rig sometimes it tangles in the casting snap that I use at the end...

    Up&Over or One-Hook Clipped Down?

Brixham breakwater shouldn't be overlooked, sandeel/mackerel/squid on a float 5-15yds out in low light on the outer wall would be the tactic I'd go for, better chance of a bonus bass too if they're about. Most of the pollack will be on the smaller side though. Lures I tend to use cheap metals...

Orkney Where would you go in Scotland?

Hi everyone, hope all is well. Travelling up to Scotland for 9-10 days in the summer as I need to head that way anyways, and was just wondering which area offers the best prospects of fishing from the shore? I'm hoping to target large pollack, and would be nice to tick off some other species we...

Cheers everyone, no worries. Thanks for the warm welcome, I know the area well but was just wondering if there was anyone else about for a session or two.

Hi all, hope everyone is well. New member here, and was just wondering whether anyone frequently fishes the Roseland or nearby areas?
