Yes the up and over would be able to get a longer trace for a shorter rig when clipped up, do you think the one hook clipped down is slightly better for hook ups due to the snood being fixed?

Brixham breakwater shouldn't be overlooked, sandeel/mackerel/squid on a float 5-15yds out in low light on the outer wall would be the tactic I'd go for, better chance of a bonus bass too if they're about. Most of the pollack will be on the smaller side though.

No worries mate, have spoken on occasion he's certainly the wrasse specialist! I do occasionally target them but tend to focus my time on other species (y)
