    The fact that all the line is in motion from the beginning of the cast and benefits from the flywheel effect of the spool is going to factor in as will spool mass, wind strength and direction loads of things. I'd ask my daughter but she'd probably tell me to piss off

    Use your ballistics program. Newtonian physics is universal. You'd have to factor in additional drag and the inertia the line causes

    Lots of food but very shallow.

    Never fished it but walked it once and it looked like a beast of a beach to fish. Further south towards liverpool the beaches are a bit better. Same sort of thing but less dynamic. They tend to fish best either side of low water. A couple of feet of water is fine if conditions are right.

    Both of them and the vegetation. I wouldn't go as low as 15lb with the braid, not there. 30lb and 60+lb leader or 60lb braid straight through
