    Give the end of the butt a good clean out first before anything else, don’t do anything drastic, if still problems give century a call , use a carpenter pencil to lub the joints this is also the reducer

    Butt caps to accept a reducer.

    I just drill out the bottom of the butt cap , I’ve done it to all my rods , if you can’t get a big enough drill then use a stanly knife

    If your feeling a bit flush have a look at the afaw tournament match pro much better than the 6n bait , I’ve used rods from all the stables and these in my eyes are by far the best rods I’ve ever come across,

    It’s not to bad really for the area free after 8pm, and it’s a safe area to fish , car park in 10 yards from the beach , pm me when you’re going, I’m going this coming Tuesday night I’ll be there around 5pm

    It’s quite possible to get a double figure cod locally to where I’m living, it’s not a rareity ether as long as you can get past the tings and straps
