I had Frozen Razors from the Wrexham shop, that must have been between November to Feburary as not there other months.

Years ago as a kid of around 14 i managed (by luck) how to catch sea trout, Not sure then if a licence was needed, as in Scotland, but they were coming back to tent/campervan for a great feed.

(y) But the op asked about a licence, so i was just responding to previous posts about where (boundary between fresh water and sea) and salmon & sea trout also fall into the catagory of needing a rod licence.

It's not all the same, close to where i am they use the toll bridge at the Mawdach Estuary as a boundary i was told, the seaward side you can fish without a licence unless it is for sea trout or salmon, and the land side you need a freshwater licence even though the tide goes beyond that point...

Beach where we got caravan is flat and even, not a thing showing, no casts showing anywhere but rag worm will catch bass.

Fished the other day with frozen mackerel , not a bite, person at same mark had loads of bass with crab.

Depends on time of year. Crab now Live sand eel later.

How long has he been going down there. Used to go to Kuggar (near them) many times for a few years and never knew of it then.

Never heard anywhere of a shortage of frozen sand eels in tackle shops.

Have you got a link to how sand eels are feeding the pig farming Industry?
